(Moving averages) Teknik analizde kullanılan bir analiz göstergesidir. Ha­reketli ortalamalar, trend yapan or­talamalarda iyi işleyen bir takip edici göstergedir. Örneğin, bir hissenin on günlük basit hareketli ortalaması, son on günün kapanış fiyatını toplanması ve bunun 10’a bölünmesi ile bulunur. Al ve sat sinyalleri üretmek için çeşit­li uzunlukta birçok hareketli ortalama hesaplanabilir.
