Gerçek Ücret

(Real wage) Fiyat artışları dikkate alına­rak nominal ücretin satın alma gücün­deki değişimi yansıtır. Eğer belirli bir dönemde nominal ücret artış oranı, aynı dönemdeki enflasyon oranının üstünde ise gerçek ücret artar. Ücret artış oranı, enflasyon oranının altında kaldığında işçi veya memurun satın alma gücü aza­lır ve yoksullaşma olgusu ortaya çıkar.
