(Foster- Greer-Thorbecke Index) Alt grup yoksulluk düzeylerinin ağırlıklı ortalaması olarak hesaplanan toplam yoksulluk endeksidir. Foster, Greer ve Thorbecke tarafından geliştirilen bu endeks, yoksulluğun yoğunluğuna ve yoksulluk sınırından uzağa düşen en yoksullara dikkat çekmek için dü­zenlenmiştir.
