Ekonomik İşbirliği Örgütü

(Economic Cooperation Organization: ECO) İktisadi, teknik ve kültürel iş bir­liğini desteklemek amacıyla İran, Pa­kistan ve Türkiye arasında 1985 yılında Kalkınma İçin Bölgesel İş Birliği Örgütü’nün (RCD) devamı olarak kurulan ve 1992 yılında Afganistan, Azerbaycan, Kazakistan, Kırgızistan, Tacikistan, Türkmenistan ve Özbekistan’ın katılı­mıyla genişleyen örgüttür.
