(Banking and Insurance Transactions Tax) Bankacılık ve sigortacılık işlem­lerinden alınan bir vergidir. Bankacı­lık işlemleri sonucunda ortaya çıkan BSMV bankalar tarafından tüketiciden tahsil edilir ve devlete ödenir. Banka ve Sigorta Muameleleri Vergisi’nde ban­kalar sadece aracıdır.
